1. Bookings & Deposits
A non-refundable booking fee/deposit is required to secure all appointments.
The booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of the service on the day of the appointment.
If a client cancels, reschedules, or fails to attend an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, the booking fee will be retained by the business to cover the loss of the appointment time.
Any client wishing to rebook following a cancellation within 48 hours or a missed appointment will be required to pay a new booking fee to secure a future appointment.
2. Appointment Location
All appointments will take place either at the designated salon premises or an approved private salon location as agreed at the time of booking.
The business reserves the right to change the appointment location where necessary and will provide reasonable notice wherever possible.
3. Client Conduct & Safety
The safety and wellbeing of staff and clients is a priority.
The business reserves the right to refuse or terminate a service where a client:
Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Behaves in an abusive, threatening, aggressive, or inappropriate manner;
Acts in a way that presents a risk to themselves, staff, other clients, or property.
Where a service is refused or terminated due to client conduct, any booking fee or payment made will not be refunded.
4. Damage to Property
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to salon property, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, or other property belonging to the business or host salon through negligent, reckless, or deliberate actions.
The business reserves the right to seek reimbursement for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of any damaged property.
5. Payment for Services
Full payment is required upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where payment is not made for services provided, the business reserves the right to pursue recovery of any outstanding sums through appropriate legal channels. This may include the use of debt recovery services or court proceedings where necessary.
The client may also be liable for any reasonable costs incurred in recovering unpaid amounts, where permitted by law.
6. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Clients are requested to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Failure to provide the required notice or failure to attend a booked appointment may result in the loss of any booking fee paid and may require full or partial payment in advance for future bookings.
7. Allergies, Medical Conditions & Client Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, medications, or any other factors that may affect the service.
The business cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed by the client.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to the above, the business shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of services.
9. Changes to Appointments
The business reserves the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel appointments due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events. In such cases, an alternative appointment or refund of any booking fee paid will be offered where appropriate.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment, paying a booking fee, or receiving services, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
